Forming Future Saints

Trinity Catholic School (TCS) provides a Catholic education for students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through sixth grade, utilizing a multi-grade classroom model (TK/K; 1st and 2nd; 3rd and 4th; 5th and 6th) designed to encourage growth, mentorship, and connection across grade levels.

​As a proud member rooted in the Protivin, Iowa community, TCS serves both Catholic and non-Catholic students from the surrounding area, offering a small, family-oriented environment where each child is known and supported.​

Helping students build the foundation of a faith-filled life is our top priority. Age-appropriate instruction and participation in prayer, masses, sacraments, and service projects help to strengthen the core Catholic values we desire to instill in our students, all in an effort to form future saints!

Supporting All Students

Accreditation & State Requirements
Trinity Catholic School is fully accredited by the State of Iowa through the Archdiocese of Dubuque; our students and staff are held to the same standards, expectations, and transparency as other state-accredited school options. Administration and teaching staff all hold post-secondary degrees in education, with almost half of our staff possessing Masters degrees.

​Students are assessed throughout the school year - including state ISASP and FAST testing - to ensure each student is meeting expected benchmarks and provided appropriate support and interventions when identified.

​Through our long-standing partnerships with the Turkey Valley Community School District and other community programs, Trinity students have access to appropriate support services, athletics, and additional extracurricular opportunities.
